RUIZ HOUSE

The house is located in Mancha Real town, in an expanding area with plots for detached singlefamily housing. The southern mountain range located in the background determines its formalization, characterized by several curved roofs inspired by this profile mountain range, seeming to establish a dialogue with it. Its sculptural character, intensified by the use of white as the only color on both facades and roofs, gives it a prominent role between the surrounding houses.

Once inside the plot, the house welcomes you with a large porch used for the parking area. Internally it develops with a fluid and continuous space from the hall to the living-kitchen-dining room located at the back, which has large windows open to the pool area and the mountains. A series of double-height gaps allows both floors to be unified and to have views of the curved roofs from various points on the ground floor, in addition to channeling light from the different skylights.

In the free space area of the pool, the flown pergola stands out in continuity with the porch and exit from the living room. A series of terraces and planters on the first floor, where is located the night area and a living area that overlooks the double-height living room, complete the house volume.
