GIL HOUSE

The house is located in Mancha Real town, in front of “Parque de la Salud”, which determines its formalization. The gabled roof starting from the neighboring property walls gives the house a sculptural character to differentiate it from the surrounding buildings. The night area is located on the first floor, while the day area is distributed between the ground floor and semi-basement, all facing the park with terraces and balconies.

A semi-basement floor used mainly for a garage and a living room at the back allows the ground floor to be raised respect to the public road and give privacy to locate a first terrace that receives you before acceding the house. The internal vertical communication is established by two staircases: a spiral one inserted in a double height lighted up by the inner patio, which connects the living area on the semi-basement floor with the living area on the ground floor with a sculptural way, and another that connects this area with the first floor walkway of the bedrooms. At this floor, take relevance the double height of the ground floor living area and the sloping roofs game that introduce light into this central void that connects all the house floors.

The façade ceramic tiles in a wood tone and the planters vegetation seem to establish a dialogue with the front park natural elements, emphasizing the connection with the house.
