ALBAO HOUSE

The house is located in Los Villares town, in a high expansion area where you can see the consolidated town and the surrounding mountainous landscape. The house emerges from the plot with a sculptural game of flown volumes at the first floor level, that open up to the landscape, framing it from indoor spaces. The different single-span roofs of these volumes provide the home with different free heights and interior spatial richness.

The white perimeter wall of the plot works as a plinth to enhance the home from outdoors and contain the different plot free spaces, such as the pool, solarium and terraces.

A large double-height interior opening, illuminated from several facade points and a roof skylight, resolves the connection between the different floors and spaces, getting interesting interior visuals in the transition from one to another.
